Template:PD-USGov-FSA Ennere

I converted your PD claims of 28. Moi 2016 made in edit summaries into claims by a standard template made in the file pages by adding {{PD-USGov-FSA}} to the pages. 91.9.116.71 08:32, 28. Moi 2016 (EDT)Beantworten

No evidence it is not free Ennere

You removed the deletion request on File:Schuhlhaus.jpg [1] with the claim "No evidence it is not free". wmf:Resolution:Licensing policy does not seem to indicate that this is allowed as a reason. Nor do I find a tag in Commons for such cases. Do you? 91.9.116.71 08:43, 28. Moi 2016 (EDT)Beantworten

LP is irrelevant here, as I commented in the summary, there is allready a link in the description [2] from which you can go to the description of the image in LoC where it is clearly stated that there is "No known restrictions on publication." i.e. it is free. In the same summary I pointed to File:Rural Pennsylvania WPA poster, ca. 1938.jpg by the same artist which is USA-PD-GOV. Add to that the description "Poster promoting Pennsylvania, showing children from a religious community attending school." and all existing evidence point to a free image and a legitimate PD claim. On the contrary there is no evidence that it could be non free.Ah3kal (Diskussion) 13:54, 28. Moi 2016 (EDT)Beantworten
There is a difference if a user makes the claim, or the source. If LoC says "No known restrictions on publication." it is probably OK for Commons, if only a Wikimedian makes such a claim, it probably gets deleted on Commons. There are users that propose deletion if there is no license tag. So thanks for pointing to the LoC-freeness-claim. And last but not least - thanks a lot for your review and finding freeness in many other files here that had been up for deletion without transfer! Best regards 91.9.97.242 05:06, 29.
